		<description>I wondered why you want to use wooden boxes? I admit they probably look more rustic than plastic ones, but you can get plastic in a variety of colours - green, brick, white.
They will retain the moisture better than wood and they won&#039;t degrade as quickly. You won&#039;t have to worry about the best wood to use (a hard wood that is very compact, like oak or perhaps cedar that shouldn&#039;t be varnished or painted; both quite expensive).

If you want the wood look, make frames that you put the plastic ones in to hide them. No contamination that way.

Well, that is the way I see it. Hope someone else can help more if you&#039;re really set on all wood!
