Is it safe to transplant already established plants in my garden?

I want to move some of my plants around. One is a bleeding heart that has flourished quite a bit since the start of spring. Can I move these plants to another spot in my garden without killing them?

    you no i just move some of mine bleeding hearts to day . did it last year some of them at this time and did great .
