Beginners Gardening

I’ve recently been hired at Olive Garden and I have no experience whatsoever. I need help guys.. I’ve been in the front twice [Busy hours] and I’ve done a lot of mistakes. I don’t want to be quiet as I walk our guests to their table so I’d like to know what I should ask them as I walk there.. I’m not good at this .. lol D:

Questions I know that NEVER works well ..

1. How are you?
2. How’s your day so far?
3. Are you here for an occasion?

THEY RESPOND IN ONE WORD AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO ASK NEXT TO CONTINUE THE COMMUNICATION!!!! HELP!!

That there are two utility boxes that are about 3 feet tall that I want to cover up with bushes. I like the rhododendron idea I am wondering if hydrangea are also good? It is a sunny/shady area

My fiance and I are going to look at an old plantation (complete with a gorgeous turn-of-the-century chapel!) for a possible wedding/reception site this weekend.

The wedding will be in the chapel, while the reception will be held outside in the gardens (there is no place for an inside reception), so we plan to rent a tent and all the works.

What questions should we ask the site manager? I’ve thought of a lot, I just want to see if you guys think of any I haven’t yet thought of!
